Van Buren Hotel remains open and committed to ensuring your safety and wellness!
We’ve updated our cancellation policy as well as cleanliness and safety standards to ease the burden of travel planning and ensure your continued safety and wellness. Please see the below pertaining to our Covid-19 measures as well as local updates.
We have reduced the cancellation policy from 48 hours to 24 hours. This policy will be in effect until August 31, 2020.
Guest Room Cleaning
Your guest room will be clean and sanitized prior to your arrival as well as following your departure. Daily maid service will not be provided to ensure the safety of guests and employees. We are happy to provide you with any amenities needed throughout your stay.
Personal Protective Equipment
We support the use of hand sanitizers, gloves and safety masks by all of our employees.
We have implemented a 6-foot barrier at our front desk to ensure proper social distancing etiquette. This includes a safety shield to enhance the barrier between front desk employees and our guests. These shields will be cleaned and sanitized in between each guest interaction.
All employees will be required to take their temperature upon arrival for their assigned shift. Any employee with a body temperature of 100 degrees or higher will not be permitted to work until the temperature subsides.
Guest Room Key Cards
A container will be made available at the front desk for guests to place their keycards directly into upon departure. From there, they can be easily sanitized in bulk without ever having to exchange hands and be prepared for future use.
Services & Amenities
Buffet service is temporarily suspended. Instead, as an act of care for our guests, we are offering pre-packaged breakfast options including fruit, sandwiches and pastries. Breakfast will be served from 6:30am – 9am in to-go bags at the front desk.
This amenity is temporarily closed until June 22, 2020. Upon reopening, guests will be asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
