Clean & Safe
Van Buren Hotel remains open and committed to ensuring your safety and wellness!
Safety Measures
Guest Room Cleaning
Your guest room will be clean and sanitized prior to your arrival as well as following your departure. Additional emphasis will be placed on key touch-points items such as switches & controls, handles & knobs, major surfaces, climate control panels and telephones, remote controls and clocks. Daily maid service will not be provided to ensure the safety of guests and employees. We are happy to provide you with any amenities needed throughout your stay.
Personal Protective Equipment
We require the use of hand sanitizers, gloves and safety masks by all of our employees.
Check-In/Out
We have implemented a 6-foot barrier at our front desk to ensure proper social distancing etiquette. This includes a safety shield to enhance the barrier between front desk employees and our guests. These shields will be cleaned and sanitized in between each guest interaction.
Temperature Monitoring
All employees will be required to take their temperature upon arrival for their assigned shift. Any employee with a body temperature of 100 degrees or higher will not be permitted to work until the temperature subsides.
Guest Room Key Cards
A container will be made available at the front desk for guests to place their keycards directly into upon departure. From there, they can be easily sanitized in bulk without ever having to exchange hands and be prepared for future use.
